Story Behind the Art:
Javanese artisan Hariyono was introduced to leather work by father, Supardi, who worked as a shoemaker. As a teen, he learned the tooled-leather trade as well as gold and silverwork, and crafted jewelry after moving to the beautiful island of Bali. 'My designs are born from a love of world cultures; they blur the lines between art, nature, fashion and lifestyle,' he says.
